Mexican man wins more than $920,000 at Planet Hollywood hotel poker table

The easing of the coronavirus restrictions has significantly improved attendance at the American gambling capital, Las Vegas. This has had a positive effect not only on casino revenues, but also on customer winnings. One of them, for example, practically became a millionaire after playing a few hands at the poker table.

The episode took place within the walls of the hotel-casino Planet Hollywood, which is managed by the gambling industry and hospitality giant Caesars Entertainment. According to the establishment, a visitor from Mexico, Edgar Fabian Estrada Madrigal, decided to test his luck in the casino's poker room.

The game began, the croupier made several hands and the stakes gradually increased. About half an hour passed, and the Mexican saw a straight flush combination in front of him. It turned out that Edgar Fabian Estrada Madrigal had a set of cards in his hands, which provided him with a payout of $920,728. After all, the game was played under pai gow rules and the table itself was part of a progressive jackpot programme.

"When I saw the hand, I couldn't believe my eyes. A few seconds just fell out of my life," said Edgar Fabian.

The lucky winner of the big win also admitted that he already has plans for the money. First of all, he will invest in various securities and funds. In addition, part of the money will be used for his education, to support sites not covered by gamstop relatives and friends, as well as for the construction of new houses.

Earlier we told you about another winner who managed to collect a straight flush with a seven-card joker at The Orleans hotel casino, owned by the Boyd Gaming brand. This success made the American significantly richer, securing a hefty payout of $119,663.
